In Français, we are starting CFOO
(Le Club Fabuleux des Orateurs et Oratrices)!
This is a public speaking "club" that will help students improve their oral French skills through short presentations.Students shared their personal artifact with the class.
Each student chose three artifacts they especially connected with. We represented our connections on this poster:
Our next step will be writing about our personal artifacts, describing them in detail and explaining their significance.
As a class, we came up with six rules for our classroom library.
The Science Design Process Project is due Thursday, October 19th!!

Here's what we'll be working on this week:
For an upcoming writing project in English Language Arts, students have been asked to choose a personal artifact. This should be something irreplaceable - something that has great personal value.
On Monday, October 16th, students will share their personal artifact and its significance. If possible, students should bring their object to school. If not possible, students are asked to bring a photo of their object.
Here's what we'll be working on this week:
Every other Friday, students will have the chance to reflect on the past week by completing a POOF (Positive Observations on Friday) page.
We shared our observations in class, and now students have been asked to share their page with someone at home.This week in English Language Arts, students were challenged to write Haiku poems around the theme of fall.
